Youth Sport Consultation/Programs
Individual Consultations:Helping young athletes learn mental skills is a passion of mine- because they are also life skills.  Sessions may be solely focused on sport related issues or may be a combination of mental health and performance.  Coverage for a Licensed Psychologist though an EAP or other insurance may apply.  Please inquire.

Out of Your Mind Youth Sports Programs:
These programs are suitable for children of school age and up. Consideration and customization according to developmental levels will be given. Teams, individual athletes in groups or association meetings may participate.

Sessions are organized in ‘bite size’ chunks in order to facilitate better concentration and retention. They are also highly interactive and fun, the way learning about mental skills was intended! Your child will love learning to perform “out of their mind”.

Session topics:
  • Targeted visualization and the power of imagination
  • Manage your inside voice
  • Mental traps and how to beat them
  • Emotions as fuel
  • Learning the art of "focus pocus"
  • Making friends with mistakes
  • Performance butterflies that fly in formation

Details:
  • One or two topics may be combined into one session
  • Custom topics are available
  • All sessions include handouts, some include audio CD supplements

Possible add ons:
  • Choose from two types of sessions: Mental Conditioning in Action (incorporating mental skills into daily practice, prerequisite 3 topics) and Performance Simulation (using performance skills under pressure, prerequisite 5 to 7 topics)
  • Coach consultation: one to two hour consultation related to specific concerns about your athletes.
Virtual Training!
Don't forget to check out the online course offerings at www.outofyourmindcourses.com.  These courses are suitable for teens, and parents of younger children can help assist their young athletes with their learning by guiding them through the process.
